Message: Hope Rick enjoyed my show, wherever he is, despite the little technical glitch. As I mentioned, wherever he's listening, he's bound to get perfect reception. I'm sure he'll also be picking up all the good vibes not only from the shows but from everybody's thoughts as well.

I remember Eric telling us about the first time Bert Williams saw his high-rise aerial. Apparently BW took a piece of the wire used for the MW longwire to test, saying it was far too thin to work properly, due to the resistance being too high. The height and length of the aerial more than compensated for copper loss in the wire. 28swg wire became 'normal' for many pirates subsequently - it was almost invisible from the ground unless you knew exactly where to look. Ha ha, Mr Yates and Mr Bird, bring your binoculars 'cos you'll need 'em!

Great effort by all the dj's and engineers, great music also! Rick would be made up with this.
